A placard can be purchased by individuals with disabilities that limit or impair the ability to walk, or are certified to be legally blind. The placard is valid in to any vehicle transporting the disabled person. The placard is to hang on the rear view mirror when using designated disabled parking spaces. Both applicant and their physician are required to sign for the permit; the permit is good for 4 years at no charge and limited to two per customer.
A temporary disabled parking permit is also available. The temporary permit, which is valid for up to 6 months, may be renewed without a further application for a period not to exceed 1 year price for this is $15.00 only one per customer.
The Application for Disabled Persons must be completed by a physician.
