You can pay your taxes in person at our main office Monday through Friday. By mail with a check, money order or credit card (a convenience fee of 2.9% is charged). Or you can pay online by clicking here. We also have a drop box for payments (dropped off payments are processed the next business day).
Currently Florida Statutes allows for two options in making payments on your taxes. The Partial Payment Plan is allowed on current taxes only. You can call our office at 386.364.3440 and speak to our Tax Director, Mandy Floyd she will be happy to help you with this process.

Installment Payment Plan
Your registration will expire midnight on your birthday. However, if you have a truck weighing more than 5000 pounds, it will expire midnight December 31st.
- If your license is scheduled to expire when you are deployed or stationed outside Florida, the Department encourages you to renew before you deploy or move. Florida drivers may renew a license up to 18 months prior to the expiration date printed on the license.
If you are out-of-state or country with a digital image license (does not have a blue sticker or no-photo), and interested in renewing your license by mail, click here where you can enter your Florida driver license number, check the status of your driver license and if eligible download a renewal application.
If you are not eligible to renew online at GoRenew.com and hold a Class E (Operator) driver license, the department can issue a military extension card that extends the expiration date of the license you currently hold until 90 days after you permanently return to Florida or are discharged from the military. You may delay the purchase of a driver license renewal by requesting this free extension card. Click here to download an application. If you have a Commercial Driver License, (Class A,B, or C) your license must be renewed, because we cannot extend commercial licenses.

Military extension cards may not be accepted in some countries when serving overseas.
By law, FDACS has 90 days from the date your application is submitted to process it (Section 790.06, Florida Statutes). However, using our fast-track process, the wait is considerably shorter. You may always check on the status of your application by clicking here. You will need to have your tracking number available. You can also call (850) 245-5691 and select option 1.
